                The yellow river.

Sometimes they could find nowhere to shelter and spent the night on a mountainside. After 12 days they got to the Yellow River and they did not know how to get across. There were usually boats there but the Chinese people had taken them away so that the Japanese could not get them.

The children asked why they could not get across. She said,"We cannot get a boat." They said, "But you taught us that we must trust God." They all prayed and then they sang. A Chinese soldier heard them singing and came to speak to them. They told him that they needed to cross the river so he went and got them a boat.
