The events in the story are laid out in 2 columns but the list in the second column are in the wrong order. See if you can sort them out. On a piece of paper, jot down each number in the first column and beside it write the letter of the event in the second column.

eg.for number 1 Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said,"The God of Israel says,'Let my people go'."

The event that goes with it in the second column is (c)Pharaoh said,"I do not know the Lord. I will not let Israel  go."

so you would write down 1c.

1.Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said,"The God of Israel says,'Let my people go'."

2.Pharaoh would not give the Israelites any straw

 3.Moses prayed to God for help. 

4,The water of the Nile turned blood red

5.Moses warned Pharaoh that there would be a       plague of frogs. 

6.Next there was a plague of gnats

8 Moses warned that sheep,cattle and camels

would take ill and die.

9 Next many of the Egyptians suffered from boils.

10. Moses warned of a hailstorm which could kill     animals and damage crops. 

11.Moses warned that there would be a plague of  locusts. 

12.Darkness covered Egypt for 3 days

13. Moses warned that many people would die. 

14.They were not allowed to eat any raw meat

15.They were not allowed to eat any bread

16.They were told to take some blood

17.Many Egyptians died.

18. Pharaoh and the Egyptians were afraid of what   would happen next

(r)Pharoh's son was one of the dead.
