The Story of Saul who changed his name to Paul and became a saint

A man is arrested.
Saul was a Jew. He tried very hard to be a very good Jew. He kept all the rules that the Jewish religion required. When Jesus rose from the dead he was seen by his disciples. They began to tell people about this. Saul did not believe this and he became very angry. He thought that what the Christians were saying was very wrong. He persecuted those people of Jersusalem who worshiped Jesus. He did all he could to find these people and put them in prison.
If Saul learned that there were followers of Jesus in a house he acted. He took a group of men and went into the house. He arrested all the Christians living there and dragged them off to prison. He went from house to house doing this.
The Christians in Jerusalem became very frightened of Saul and most of them went out of the city and went to live in the countryside where they felt they were safer.
