Drawing Puzzle
Draw 9 dots in the middle of a piece of paper. Next see if you can join all the dots using only 4 straight lines without lifting your pencil from the paper. You must not go along the same line twice.
Other puzzles The first question is very easy
1. A snail called Sidney climbs a pole 6 feet high. It climbs 2 feet in a day. How long does it take to get to the top? Go to answer on page 2
The second question has a catch.
2. Another snail called slithery is not as good at climbing. It climbs 2 feet during the day but every night it slips back 1 foot. How long does it take to get to the top?

3. Two boys called Andrew and Billy are playing marbles. Billy says to Andrew, "Give me one of your marbles and I will have as many as you." But Andrew says "No. You give me one of your marbles and I will have twice as many as you."
How many marbles did Andrew have and how many marbles did Billy have?

You might have to do a lot of guessing but if you are at High School and you can do simultaneous equations in Algebra you should be able to get the answer that way.
